interaction with customers,” says Escrow Officer Sharon Herbert
when asked what she likes best about her job. Sharon asserts
that her ultimate desire is for all parties involved in a
transaction to leave her office happy and informed.
With a background in
real estate and mortgage lending before devoting herself to
title work, Sharon brings much to the Independence Title team.
Possessing more than thirty years of experience in the title
industry, Sharon looks back fondly to the early 80’s when she
helped start two different Title Companies. Currently, Sharon
serves as Branch Manager for Independence Title Company’s
Bulverde/Spring Branch office. After a seven-year stay in
Colorado where she worked in the title insurance and real estate
development business, Sharon has returned to Texas with the
belief that the way to stand out in the title industry is to be
genuinely nice, considerate of others, and knowledgeable. She
differentiates herself by doing all of the above as well as
devoting herself to community involvement and the development of
personal relationships with her realtor/lender/builder clients.
An active member of
the Bulverde Chamber of Commerce, Sharon enjoys event planning,
team building, and leadership activities. She eagerly assists
with community events, applying her organizational and
leadership skills as well as her artistic talents. In her free
time, Sharon gardens, does woodwork, and paints. She also has a
passion for interior design. Incorporating her hobbies into her
business brings Sharon a special pleasure. Sharon and her
husband Ron also delight in spending time with their children
and grandchildren. Backed by fellow Escrow Officer Stacey
Dimmitt and the resources of Independence Title Company, Sharon
looks forward to closing your real estate transactions.
